Truck 110 is a 2007 Stephan ladder truck. 2007 Sutphen Ladder Truck  This is a 70-foot ladder truck, used to reach tall structures and put firefighters on the roof of various structures, It’s designed for rope rescue and high angle response.”

Engine 710

Ford F350 grass attack trucks — 710, purchased in 2003, are used to get out into the middle of grass fires and wild land fires, basically to fight any fire that isn’t in a building

Engine 864

Squad 864 is a 2006 F 450 Medical Response unit. This vehicle holds all of the department’s first-out medical equipment for any medical call.

Antique engine No.1

Engine No.1 is a historic 1954 Seagrave. Engine 1 served as the first fire engine that Nevada purchased new. The engine has been maintained by the members and is owned by the Nevada Firefighters Association. It represents the history of the community’s fire department. The Seagrave has all original equipment. It is used mostly for parades and special events. Engine 1 has continuously won state awards at the Iowa Firefighters Association annual convention for best in class. The truck is not currently used by Nevada for calls, but it represents history. “As long as the Seagrave is in our station, it serves as a reminder to new members the sacrifices our retired members made for this community.
